Gorgeous boy Sunny is about 10 years old and is looking for either a foster home or forever home, in the South West, through SOKS Dog Rescue. He’s currently in kennels in Looe, Cornwall.
Sunny is an affectionate boy but on his own terms. He generally gets on well with other dogs he meets on walks and is usually up for a play. He can be a bit selective though.
It’s thought he’d do best as an only pet at home. He was previously living with another dog and all seemed well for a couple of years but when the other dog’s health declined, Sunny became a bit overbearing and it wasn’t fair to keep them together. Such a shame because he’s a very loving dog but he clearly needs to be the focus of all available fuss!
Sunny has had a hard life in the past and had to overcome a lot of challenges. He needs an adult-only home and hasn’t lived with cats so it’s safest not to try at his time of life. He still has plenty of energy for walks!
Sunny loves getting out exploring nature with his people. He especially loves trips to the seaside!
Sunny needs owners who are calm and experienced. He’s the most loyal and loving dog once his past years in a shelter is accounted for. Seeing him gallivant is a joyous thing and he really is beautiful!
