This little cutie is darling Linda. She is a French Bulldog currently seeking her forever home with Mayhew Animal Home in North West London. She is just over 7yrs of age and is a little poppet !
Linda would like new humans that are experienced with her breed or have researched what is involved in caring for a French Bulldog. They should be committed to giving her the best life possible. Linda is so affectionate and loving. She could live with respectful children over the age of 12yrs who understand that sometimes Linda will want her own time with some peace and quiet. Linda does not want a lot going on in her household, but a calm and relaxed environment that she feels comfortable in.
She gets on well with other dogs but isn’t too keen on boisterous ones. She could live with another dog after successful introductions at Mayhew.
Nice little walks where she can sniff to her hearts content and roll in the grass would make Linda a very happy girl. As Linda is a brachycephalic breed type, she should avoid excessive exercise and hot weather which irritate her breathing. It is suggested that she will need 2 gentle 30 minute off lead walks a day. She could potentially live in a flat where she has access to a garden, but she can be a little vocal at times, so this should be taken into consideration.
Linda may occasionally be left alone for short periods, building up to 1-2 hours. Linda just loves being around her people and getting lots of love and affection, so she’d like you with her a lot of the time,
Linda has a history of chronic ear disease. Her ears will need regular cleaning and treatment when needed. She has had a dental with some teeth extracted whilst at Mayhew. As mentioned, Linda is a brachycephalic breed type, so her owners will need to make sure her skin folds are kept clean, her weight is managed and she does not exert herself too much
Linda has been neutered, microchipped, will have received her first vaccination and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed. Every dog adopted from Mayhew will go home with 4 weeks free pet insurance.
A very lucky person will welcome sweet Linda into their lives.
