Adorable Millie is a 9 year old, long-haired Chihuahua currently looking for a loving forever home. She is currently in the care of North East Terrier Rescue and would love to find her forever home soon. A home with small breed experience would be a bonus.
Millie is the sweetest little snuggle bug and is a real lap dog. She loves human fuss and attention and will tap for attention and belly rubs. She loves nothing more than being close to her people. Millie is a very laid-back little Chi at home and enjoys a quieter pace of life.
Millie is looking for a home with someone around more often than not that she can potter about with each day. A secure, decent sized garden is a must. Millie is just getting used to being walked and is very much enjoying her rural walks with friends.
Millie loves her food but is on a softer diet following an urgent dental that was needed on her arrival in rescue. She is spayed and in good health otherwise.
Millie could live with respectful teens (aged 12+) but no younger children due to her size and age. She must live with other sociable, neutered dogs of a similar size and nature. She is good with people and dogs she knows well.
Millie would like to have a couple of visits from her prospective adopters as she takes a little time to trust and can be initially very nervous and wary of strangers. A home-check, minimum rescue donation and rescue back-up apply.
