Lovely Callie is in emergency foster care in Billinghurst, Sussex, as her adopted Dad is seriously ill and not able to care for her. She is looking for a new furever home with the help of Romanian Rescue Appeal and would love to find her new family soon.

Callie is a Romanian rescue girl who has been in the U.K. since 2019. She is an 11 year old, medium size Crossbreed and is predominantly black, but her coat has a reddish tint in the sun. She is still fit and active with no known medical issues, spayed and weighs 20kg.

Callie is currently living with 2 other male dogs but is quite okay with females too. She has no problem with cats or other small furries. Callie would do best living in a multi-dog household rather than an only dog as she feels more confident with other dogs. She can be left alone for a couple of hours and is house-trained.

Callie is a little shy with strangers and will take time to build up trust, but she is okay once she has sussed you out. She would be fine with older children aged 12+. She is good on and off the lead and enjoys a regular daily walk, especially the beach and countryside and playtime with other dogs. She will happily sit under a pub/cafe table if you care to take her. Callie loves trips out in the car and can be left alone for short periods.
