Arlo was found as a stray by the local dog warden, and now finds himself under the care of Safe Rescue, being fostered in Fakenham, Norfolk. He is a 9yr old Shih Tzu cross, and is such a dear little chap that deserves the most loving forever home.
When he was found it was clear that he had been neglected for some time. His coat was dirty and matted and he was covered in fleas. After a lovely bath and a trip to the barbers, Arlo is now looking much more comfortable.
Arlo is a nervous boy and would like a home that is calm and quiet. Once he gets to know you he will wag his tail and be ready for some affection. Whilst he tolerates other dogs, Arlo would prefer to be the only dog in the house. He could live with respectful children over 10yrs of age, and is not cat tested.
He enjoys his walks and is a good boy on the lead. He is housetrained too. Arlo would like someone at home with him for a good part of the day.
N.B. Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. Further details can be found on Dana’s home page.
