Oldies Club attends events around the country throughout the year to help raise much needed funds and also spread the word of dogs in Oldies Club care, and to hopefully find more volunteers to help us. We are now looking for volunteers who can help us further fundraise street collections and meet & greets. A Street Collection is where money can be collected in a public place as long as the the correct licence/permit has been applied for and granted by the local council. Update: – 09/02/14 – Foster home has now been secured We urgently need to find another foster home for Dash who arrived in our care today. This is through no fault of his own. Dash is currently in Southampton, Hampshire but needs to move asap. Dash is an 11 year old  large Golden Retriever x Labrador. He is currently entire and his vaccinations have lapsed which means we are unable to put him into a boarding kennels. Dash has a good temperament. He does have a few medical issues. Five years ago, on New Year’s Eve, we travelled down the motorway to meet with another volunteer and bring home a rather sad and confused old dog as a temporary foster. Jasper Bear, as he became known, had been separated from his poorly owner and his doggie friend and taken to the vets to be put down.
