Roxy (National Animal Welfare Trust, Berkshire)
31/3/15 – We have just has the sad news that Roxy collapsed and was diagnosed with a ruptured abdomen. Sadly she was too ill to save and she passed away peacefully in the arms of the NAWT volunteers. Run free Roxy.

Nelson (Safe Rescue, fostered Norwich)
13/4/15 Safe Rescue tell us the sad news that Nelson has passed away. He was loved very much by his fosterer, who did everything possible for him, and he will be very missed.

Sweet Little Roman (Oldies Club, fostered North East)
3/4/15 Roman became very poorly and has had to be put to sleep. Our thoughts are with his foster carer who is so very upset as she loved little Roman dearly.

Kez (RSPCA Leybourne, Kent)
3/2/15 Sadly, Kez’s health started to deteriorate and she went downhill quite quickly. RSPCA Leybourne had to say goodbye to her. Rest in peace now Kez.

4/12/14 – We have sadly been informed that beautiful Betty has gone to the bridge. She was much loved.

Buddy (Kerry Greyhounds, fostered Norfolk)
2/9/14 – We just had this sad update from Kerry Greyhounds: ‘Poor Buddy had a home offer but before he could go he became unwell and was diagnosed with Hepatic Lymphoma last week. He deteriorated very quickly and had to see a vet on Sunday as an emergency. Unfortunately the vet recommended that Buddy was euthanased, it was a very sad day for us all.’

13/5/14 – We just received the sad news that Alayna had to be put to sleep due to health issues. Sleep peacefully, little one.

15/8/14 – Sad news from Eastern German Shepherd Rescue ‘Unfortunately we lost Shadow to an internal bleed due to a tumour last week.’ Sleep tight old boy.

Border Terrier Sam (Oldies Club, fostered Surrey)
26/1/14 Dear Sam has sadly had to be put to sleep following a stroke. Our thoughts are with his wonderful family and we would like to thank them for giving Sam such a super time.

16/1/14 – We just heard the sad news that Reddie has lost his fight for life. He was very much loved in his foster home. Sleep tight, old boy.

Zuper-Duper Zak Dobermann (Oldies Club, fostered Berkshire)
17.8.2014 After only 10 months in his new home, sadly Zak has passed away. We offer our sympathy and gratitude to his owners who gave him such a wonderful new home and also to his fosterers who cared for him for so long.

Asha (Rescue Remedies, Surrey)
27/6/13 – Sad news from Rescue Remedies: ‘So sorry to have to tell you that Asha went to Rainbow Bridge today. Sadly he had a mass on his upper front leg and he was struggling to walk. The vet agreed it was better to let him slip away without pain. Thankfully he had 10 months before he died in a wonderful foster home.’

Super Sam (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)
April 2013 Sam was returned to our care recently and, after a few very happy weeks in his foster home, he has sadly passed away. Sleep tight now special boy. You will be very much missed.

1/8/14 – Just had this sad update from Barley Kennels: ‘Sadly Frisby passed away 2 weeks ago, he never did find his forever home but he was happy and very much loved with us.’

Glen (Barley Kennels, Essex)
12/10/13 – Just had this sad news about Glen: ‘Very sadly Glen died last week bless him. Its such a terrible shame he didn’t find a home he was such a lovely dog, but at least he was happy in kennels and one of the volunteers was very attached to him and spoilt him as much as possible.’
