Best Boy Bob (Oldies Club)

28/9/2017 Gentleman Bob has been adopted by his foster carers. They fell in love with this lovely boy and decided quickly that they could not part with him and he now has a wonderful, new life with his forever family.

Mike (Dogs Trust Newbury, Berkshire)

If you want to offer a home to a dog that no-one else seems to notice, you could be the person for Mike. He’s an energetic boy who loves playing fetch. He also loves cuddles. Mike will fill your life with fun if you just give him the chance… 5/9/19 – Mike still needs a home

Buddy (Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary)

Buddy is a very handsome crossbreed boy who loves chasing balls and frisbees. He would like to be your only pet but could live with teenagers aged 16+. Could you offer fun-loving Buddy the home he is waiting for? 5/9/19 – Buddy is still waiting!

Tiggy (1 Dog At A Time Rescue UK, Buckinghamshire)

1/7/16 We are so sad to hear that poor Tiggy was nearer the end of her life than was thought and she has now passed away. The saddest thing is that some lovely people had offered Tiggy a home and were due to pick her up today. :( Sleep tight, Tiggy.

Kasha (NAWT, Berkshire)

1/9/16 – Sad news, Kasha had to be put to sleep as she was losing the battle against cancer which had spread quickly into her back legs and hip.

Not nutty, Nutty (Oldies Club, fostered Northants)

We are so sorry to have to update with the sad news that, after a short illness, Nutty deteriorated dramatically, to the point where she had to be put to sleep to save her any suffering. Our thoughts are with Nutty’s lovely foster carer who had taken such good care of our special girl since she came into the Oldies Club rescue. Sleep tight little Nutty.

Tilly (RSPCA Danaher, Essex)

13/9/15 We’re very sad to hear that Tilly passed away suddenly in her kennel overnight. Thankfully it seems that she simply went to sleep and didn’t wake up, so it would have been peaceful. Sleep tight beautiful Tilly.

William (Chancepixies Animal Welfare, Kent)

Little William’s dad passed away and he’s now looking for an experienced and understanding adult-only home. He’s led an insular life and arrived in rescue very underweight so food is an issue with him. He loves his walks and deserves a happy, forever home. 5/9/19 – William is still waiting

Buddy (Kerry Greyhounds, fostered Norfolk)

2/9/14 – We just had this sad update from Kerry Greyhounds: ‘Poor Buddy had a home offer but before he could go he became unwell and was diagnosed with Hepatic Lymphoma last week. He deteriorated very quickly and had to see a vet on Sunday as an emergency. Unfortunately the vet recommended that Buddy was euthanased, it was a very sad day for us all.’

Asha (Rescue Remedies, Surrey)

27/6/13 – Sad news from Rescue Remedies: ‘So sorry to have to tell you that Asha went to Rainbow Bridge today. Sadly he had a mass on his upper front leg and he was struggling to walk. The vet agreed it was better to let him slip away without pain. Thankfully he had 10 months before he died in a wonderful foster home.’

Frisby (Barley Kennels, Essex)

1/8/14 – Just had this sad update from Barley Kennels: ‘Sadly Frisby passed away 2 weeks ago, he never did find his forever home but he was happy and very much loved with us.’
