23/02/18 – Arta has been adopted having been spotted on Oldies Club! Hooray!

Arta is a ridiculously fluffy Crossbreed lady, believed to be around 12 years old. She’s in foster care near Chepstow in South Wales through Romanian Rescue Appeal. She’s looking for an adult only home as she wants a peaceful retirement.

Arta is generally a gentle and friendly lady. She’s staying with several other dogs and gets on well with the boys but not as well with the girls. At her time of life she very much knows her own mind and feels that other females could benefit from following her instructions, in all matters. They don’t see it that way though, and so she’d better only live with boys, who tend to appreciate her unique wisdom!

Or she can be an only dog as long as she has human company a lot of the time. She can be left for a while as she is very well practiced at snoozing.

She doesn’t much like lead walking and prefers to go at her own pace (which is set to slow!), wandering here and there sniffing every blade of grass and having the occasional roll just for the fun of it. If you have a large garden for this purpose she will be in heaven!

Arta is a slow and steady lady who likes a good cuddle and may even give you an excitable bounce or two if you tickle her just right.

When she arrived her coat was terribly matted and pulling on her skin, so to make her more comfortable she had a full clip for the summer.

Her fur is now starting to grow back and she is gorgeously soft and fluffy. She’ll need regular brushing either by you or a professional groomer… if you don’t want to strain your wrist. She’s so fluffy!

Arta is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and healthy.
