Lovely Lady is an older Crossbreed girl, aged between 12-13 years (born 2005). She is a small Collie Cross who is being fostered in RCT, South Wales and came into the care of Friends of Animals Wales through no fault of her own from a loving home. Lady is now fostered in RCT, South Wales and is ready for that second chance.

Lady is a shy girl who takes a little time to get to know and trust her humans. She is quiet but, once she trusts you, she is happy in your company and enjoys cuddles and tummy tickles. Lady has come from a home where she has had doggy siblings so she can live with other dogs. When meeting dogs out on walks, she is shy and wary. She has not been cat tested.

Poor Lady has had her world turned upside down and is nervous in every situation at the moment. She can be left for a little while, but not crated. She isn’t a fan of loud noises, such as doors slamming, so is looking for a calm and quiet home.

Being an older girl, Lady isn’t as energetic as she used to be. She is happy to go on regular walks and will feel secure with a regular routine. She would be most suited to a quiet home where her family are retired/semi-retired so she isn’t left on her own for any length of time. She deserves plenty of love and attention at her age without having to deal with small children or unnecessary noise or disruption. The garden will need to be secure until Lady has settled in her new home as she has tried to jump the fence in her foster home.

Lady is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up-to-date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Rhondda, South Wales.
