9/5/18 – Marley has found his new home!

———————–

Beautiful 10-year-old Marley is looking for a new home following the death of his beloved owner. He is being cared for short-term by a relative while being rehomed by Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool.

Marley is a very attractive and unusual looking boy who may have some Jack Russell and Yorkshire Terrier in his breeding but he is about the same size as a Cocker Spaniel. His tail has been docked.

Poor Marley had been in the same home since he was a puppy and is lost without his owner as they were inseparable. He is a fantastic dog and is very outgoing and sociable. He is OK with other dogs but can be wary of bigger dogs as he was attacked by one in the past. Freshfields feel he could live with a compatible dog, but as Marley is very toy-orientated, it would need to be a dog that doesn’t mind sharing.

Marley has never lived with cats but has not seemed fazed by any that have wandered into his garden. He is still very active for his age and loves his walks so needs an active owner. He would prefer company throughout the day but is happy to be left alone for a couple of hours. He is used to visiting children of all ages but has never lived with young children, so a home where any children are older, sensible ones would suit him best.

Marley is an affectionate and sweet-natured boy who will make a fantastic companion. Freshfields are desperate to see him settled in a loving home after his ordeal.

Remember that Marley isn’t on site at Freshfields, so if you are interested in him you will need to make an appointment to meet him.
