Just how handsome is Teifi! He’s an adorable Standard Poodle aged 12 years and he is in foster care in South Wales while Friends of the Animals hope that his forever home will be found soon.

Teifi is fine with adults but no children please. He is very affectionate and loves being fussed. He can be a little obstinate at times as he does like things to be done his way and FOA would prefer new owners to have experience of this breed.

Teifi doesn’t take much interest in other dogs on walks or in the home and, as long as he still had most of the attention, he could probably share a home with one. Teifi would chase a cat given a chance, so no cats please.

Teifi is very good in the house and he likes to be helpful and tell you when it’s feeding time. He is house-trained. He loves a walk but doesn’t like to stop for a rest and will bark for your attention to get going again! One good walk a day is all he needs. He does pull a little, so he walks best on a harness.

Teifi’s ideal home would be with a retired couple as an only dog so he could have their undivided attention. He would love a quiet house with a garden to potter in and company most of the time.

Teifi is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up-to-date with his flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in RCT, South Wales.
