6/10/18 – No surprise that little Uri has quickly found a home!

Cute little Uri is a 9 year old Spaniel Cross who lived his whole life in a private shelter in Romania until coming to the UK with Safe Rescue. He’s now in a foster home in Norfolk.
Understandably, it’s all been quite scary for Uri as he had never been for a walk, never met new people and never been inside a house. He has had to be really brave to face all the new experiences.
His foster mum gave him a shower and watched 9 years of shelter grime wash down the plughole. She groomed him and cut out all the matts and then she cuddled him until he was dry. He was scared at first but after a while he licked her nose to say thank you.
Uri was scared of walks at first but he is now enjoying seeing all the things he has missed out on. New people are still a bit scary though and so Uri would like a home that’s not too lively or noisy.
