Mogwei (Foal Farm Animal Rescue, Kent)

28/1/20 – Special little Mogwei has finally found the fabulous new home that he so deserves!

Dear little Mogwei (aka Mogs or Moggy) is a 7 year old Pug cross in the care of Foal Farm Animal Rescue in Biggin Hill, Kent. Poor Mogs has a lumbar disc problem which has resulted in him being unable to walk. Not that it stops him having a lovely life!

Mogs is looking for a home where someone is home a lot of the day to keep him company. He can go into a family home with children from age 7 years up. Although he is dog friendly he’s seeking a pet free home due to his disability.

Foal Farm say, “We have provided Mogs with a wheelchair, which he has adapted to very well so he can still go on short walks and enjoy ball games in our paddocks, which is his favourite! For longer journeys we push him in his buggy, which he equally enjoys, all of the equipment we use for Mogs will be provided to his new owner.

“When Mogs isn’t in his wheels he shuffles about with ease in our office and can still be quick, particularly when there is treats or a toy in sight! Mogs is a remarkable little dog, who hasn’t let his disability stop him from enjoying life.

“He loves playing with his toys all day…

…and getting cuddles from his carers.

“He’s a little character who we all adore, as he has so much love and fun to give back to us. Mogwei requires 20 minute physiotherapy sessions twice a day and we will provide guidance on how to carry this out.

“We are also providing weekly hydrotherapy sessions which take 30 minutes and we will continue to provide these sessions for him when he’s in his new home, so it’s important that Mogs’ new owner is able to transport him.”

If you have a big heart and a suitable home within driving distance of the rescue, please consider adopting this overlooked little sweetie. He very much deserves a loving home!
