11/3/19 – Owen and Oliver have found a new home after being spotted on the Oldies Club website!

Owen is a very attractive 12-year-old Crossbreed boy, and his best friend Oliver is a cute little 12-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. They are at Derby RSPCA. Owen and Oliver are very bonded to one another and would be so much happier if they could find a new home together rather than having to be split up.

Owen and Oliver find themselves in rescue because their owner was working longer hours and, as they don’t like being left alone for long periods, they were developing separation anxiety. They would therefore love to find a new home where there is a human at home the majority of the time. See how lovely they are in this short video:

Their ideal home will be a fairly quiet one where the boys can enjoy some peace and quiet and simply being with their people. They could live with kind children aged 13+.

Owen and Oliver are affectionate boys who love a good fuss. As you will have seen in the video above, Oliver loves to play ball and he will bring it back to you and drop it ready for the next throw.

Oliver

Owen isn’t really interested in playing – he just wants someone to sit next to him and give him lots of love and cuddles.

They both walk OK on the lead once they have settled into their walk. They have so far shown no interest in passing dogs.

Owen and Oliver are really lovely dogs who must wonder what is happening to them. They are such good buddies – could you offer them a loving home together where they won’t need to be left for too long?
