5/2/20 – At last, lovely old Poppy has found a new home ‘down South’!
—————–

Pretty Poppy is a sweet older lady – her passport says she’s 8 but she is probably older – who is with Oakwood Dog Rescue in Hull. Poppy is beginning to struggle with the stress of kennels and she needs a home as soon as possible. Poppy is the size of a small German Shepherd and she probably has some Labrador in her mixture. What a lovely girl!

As you can see from her photos, Poppy has some issues with her sight – she only has a little vision in one eye, but this doesn’t hinder her enjoyment of life. She is a very sweet girl and she really enjoys being around people. She is gentle too and deserves to be relaxing in a loving, comfortable home.

Poppy is still pretty active and she loves a good walk and having a cuddle. She gets worried about being around other animals as they startle her due to her poor vision, so she needs to be your only pet. Poppy needs an adult only home. She can be left for up to 5 hours and she travels well.

Poppy isn’t on any medication. She has mammary tumours and Oakwood’s vet advised no treatment, but because of the mammary tumours she cannot be spayed. Her new owners will need to keep her safe during any seasons she might have.

Could you offer Poppy a quiet home and lots of love?
