Whisper (Active Animals Rescue & Rehabilitation, fostered Durham)

1/12/19 – Whisper has been adopted by her foster carer!

Darling old Whisper is at least 10 years old and she is with Active Animals Rescue and Rehabilitation, looking for a retirement home. She is in a foster home near County Durham but can be adopted anywhere in the UK if you are willing to travel.

This old girl has had such a sad life. She’s described as a creaky, porky lady at the moment, but she has so much to offer her new people. Whisper gets on brilliantly with the other dogs and cats in her multi-animal foster household, from the kittens to the Great Dane to the Terriers!

She adores affection and love, and needs people who have a lot of time and attention to give her. She needs a good-sized garden to potter around in. She doesn’t really go on the lead for walks and is more of a potterer, so someone with fields at the back of their house or a very large garden would be ideal. She’s quite heavy to lift (currently 23kg) and can’t get in and out of a car easily, but if you are OK with moving her she would enjoy a potter off lead at a field or park.

Whisper is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

Could you offer this special lady the happy retirement she so deserves?
