12/09/2020 – Blue has been adopted! Hooray!

Beautiful Blue is a Border Collie Cross of 10 years in foster care through Cheltenham Animal Shelter in Gloucestershire. He wants to be the only pet at home and for any youngsters to be age 16+. He does like his uninterrupted nap times these days.

Blue has the Collie trait of being super intelligent and enjoying both walks and play time. He is strong on the lead so will need an owner who can manage this. He’s used to wearing a harness.

He loves an off-lead run around and will keep you busy playing fetch!

Blue is an affectionate boy who loves a fuss. He’d be happiest in a home where someone is around much of the time. He does like to settle down and have a peaceful rest on his own when he feels the need but being so bright, he does needs enough stimulus too.

He originally came into the rescue with his best friend, a Bulldog called Betsy. Sadly she passed away and, although Blue’s experience shows that he’s OK with dogs he knows, he’s a bit too long in the tooth for adjusting to new dogs now. Besides, he deserves to have his human’s undivided attention!

Blue has had a dental and is neutered. This lovely boy will make a loyal, engaging and doting companion. His character makes him a real super star of a dog and that’s even before you take account of those amazing eyes!
