29/01/2020 – Sadly, Daisy’s long standing neurological problem was causing her distress and was not going to improve so the toughest decision of all was made. Run free lovely girl.

Darling Daisy is a Collie girl waiting for a lovely person to find her with the help of Rain Rescue in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Her elderly owner was no longer able to care for her and she was in desperate need of help. She arrived with another Collie called Oliver who is also in need of a home.

They are both very different in personality and don’t necessarily need to be rehomed together. Dear old Oliver is blind but he copes with well and uses his nose to find his way around. He prefers to potter and Daisy prefers to sniff and then have a quick run around.

She adores toys, but can guard them from other dogs. If she cannot find a person who’ll take in Oliver as well then she’d rather be an only dog. She better not live with cats and any children need to be older teenagers. It’s thought she might have some kind of neurological condition but it doesn’t need treatment as she’s clearly lived with it happily for a long time. It just adds a touch of goofiness to her already endearing character!

If you can offer cutie-tootle Daisy a loving home (and maybe dear old Oliver too?) please contact Rain Rescue as follows:
