Dior is an 8-year-old female Dogue de Bordeaux who arrived at Teckels in Gloucestershire in a very poor state. It was touch and go for a while, but after lots of love and TLC from staff and her lovely foster carers, Dior is now ready to find a retirement home.

She is a large dog so will require that little bit more room on your sofa, but she’s so worth it! Dior is very affectionate once she knows you, but can be a little aloof to begin with. She doesn’t require a huge amount of exercise, but does enjoy daily strolls around the local park. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home, but can have walking pals.

Dior’s main quirk is her eating habits. Due to her recent surgery, and suspected long-standing gut issues, she has become increasingly difficult to put weight on. Her foster family have painstakingly worked with her to get her eating and gaining weight. Teckels require a high level of commitment from families wishing to adopt Dior, to agree to regular check-ins to ensure they are able to maintain her weight, and also accept her fussy eating habits.

Dior prefers to have company most of the day. She loves a lie-in, short play times and plenty of cuddles. She is a very special girl who deserves an equally special home. Could you offer her a fabulous future?

If so, carefully read the information about how to adopt, on the Teckels website before contacting them.
