Pretty Koshi is an 8-year-old larger Crossbreed lady who is with Love Underdogs in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
Koshi is simply a gorgeous girl with a golden temperament. She loves people and is very affectionate but not demanding with it. Koshi also loves dogs and can be like a mother hen with them and will protect another dog if she senses that they lack confidence. For that reason, she would be better placed in a home either as an only dog or with a confident dog or dogs.
Koshi needs experienced owners with a relaxed energy, who will take time when introducing Koshi to any visitors. Koshi is house clean, she has spent time in foster placements, is a joy to have around, and she most definitely requires cuddles!
If you are wanting to give a chance to an older dog, Koshi is a very deserving girl. She spent many years with 3 other dogs in a really sad pound in Romania. She’s never had much happiness and so she now thinks that UK kennel life is wonderful after having lived a harsh life in all temperatures in a rusty cage in Transylvania, see below.
When she has been adopted she will not believe her luck! Koshi is looking for a loving family who will take her for short, steady walks that she can cope with and show her the good life. She just wants to be part of a family – note that Love Underdogs don’t rehome senior dogs with children though, so Koshi needs an adult home. She can’t live with cats.
Koshi is neutered and has had a UK vet check, full blood profile which came back fine, and a dental scale and polish. She is on Metacam for her arthritic joints. She walks as well as she can, but her mobility will not enable her to climb mountains. She does her best to go on walks though.
All Love Underdogs’ dogs are rehomed with a home trial for 2 weeks before a formal adoption. Love Underdogs offer behaviourist support for the lifetime of the dog.
