28/12/21 – Cora has found a home!

Cora is a very happy, waggy girl who was found earlier in the year with just one puppy who has been adopted, leaving Cora behind. She was cared for by the person who found them, but it wasn’t a secure location so she had to be chained up. She has been moved to another foster carer in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, where she is free to mingle with other dogs and cats and Stray2Me hope to find her the perfect home for Christmas.

Cora appears to be a black Labrador and the vet estimates her age to be between 8 – 11 years old. She is living with 2 male dogs and is a loveable entertainer, if a little greedy! She’s very playful and coquettish with the boys. She can also live with cats. She settles well at night and appears to be perfectly housetrained with no accidents at all.

Cora is neutered and has been diagnosed with Stage One heartworm, which is being treated with a monthly wormer pill. She has had an echocardiogram which confirmed no heart damage. Cora has poor teeth which are worn down, most likely from chewing tethers and chains. A dental was carried out a couple of weeks ago, with a few teeth being removed. She is a little tubby at nearly 30kg, so needs to be kept on a diet.

Cora is a very friendly, loving girl, who really needs a warm retirement home, probably better with other dogs for company.
