This handsome, cuddly gent is called Ursa and he has spent his life living outside, though he has quickly adapted to inside life and luxuries such as squishy beds. He’s in the care of Cloud K9 Rescue and in a cosy foster home in North Yorkshire.
Ursa is approximately 10 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and health screened. He’s a big lad who is very fit and acts much younger than his age. He is clean in the house and loves to have attention. Ursa lives with another dog and a cat and is fine with both, although for some reason he barks at black Labradors!
Ursa hasn’t met children yet, but older children would be more suitable so he won’t be able to knock them over.
As can be expected with a dog that has lived outside, Ursa is not very used to walks and, whilst he enjoys them very much and is very active, he can be strong, which as a big dog means he needs someone strong enough and patient enough to help him learn to walk nicely.
His foster carer says he is very trainable and just a wonderful boy who is going to make someone a fabulous companion. It would be lovely to get him settled in a home in time for his first proper Christmas.
