2/6/22 – Bjorn has found a home!

Beautiful Bjorn is a large, 7-year-old Crossbreed boy, believed to have some majestic Anatolian Shepherd in his mix. He’s a firm favourite with staff at Love Underdogs at Waltham Abbey in Essex. Potential adopters will need to visit him a couple of times before having a home trial with him.
Bjorn is brilliant with other dogs. The rescue use him to build the confidence of more nervous residents and he is always patient and cheerful with boisterous youngsters.
Needless to say, he’d be happy living with one or more other dogs after nice introductions. He’d better not live with cats and, simply due to his age, wants an adult only home.
Bjorn bonds very strongly with his people and only ever wants to please. He’s great at agility, loving the mental and physical challenge as well as getting things right and being a Good Boy! Approval is more important to him than treats, although he’s partial to those too.
Bjorn is essentially a happy, uncomplicated dog. The only quirk he has which needs to be managed is that he can be reactive with unknown men when out on walks. Countryside walks are for him and he will need owners who are used to large breeds…
Bjorn needs to have a grain-free diet or he gets itchy skin. A garden is, of course, essential. He wants plenty of play time and fun interactions.
