18/2/23 – Santos has been rehomed!

Sweet Santos is settling into home life after spending many years outside at a shelter in Bosnia. He is in the care of Nirina Dog Rescue, living in a foster home in Camarthen, Wales. Santos’s ideal home will be with someone around the majority of the time and in a nice, quiet home for him to enjoy his sleep.
Santos is approximately 10 years old and looking for his forever home. He is a quiet, older chap who enjoys snuggling on the sofa with his humans and is toilet trained too. He lives with other dogs but is equally not fussed about needing to live with another dog and enjoys the peace and quiet.
Santos is not a fan of dogs that get in his face, particularly on a walk, and boisterous dogs are too lively for him. He gets on fine with cats and is also good with children, but they would need to be older children who are dog-savy.
Santos enjoys his treats and his new owners will need to understand that he does not understand if something is removed from him. He walks well on the lead and loves to explore. He has found the joy of a ball and started to learn to play with that.
