‘OLD DOG OF THE WEEK’ FEATURES NEW PHOTOS AND A FRESH WRITE-UP FOR AN OVERLOOKED OLDIE THAT HAS BEEN ON OUR WEBSITE FOR A WHILE BUT IS STILL WAITING FOR A NEW HOME.

11/06/2023: Badger has been adopted! Hooray!

Please help Badger by sharing this page!

This beautiful little boy is Badger. He’s a 7-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who’s won the hearts of all at Cheltenham Animal Shelter in Gloucestershire. No one can understand why he hasn’t been snapped up yet. He just needs his perfect human to find him!

Badger is a super little man who absolutely loves people. He can live with children from age 14. He’s a typically active Terrier with a lot of appetite for fun!

Badger is not a fan of other animals so walks need to be in quiet places. He is very small and therefore easy to manage when necessary.

He has strongly held views about cats especially and is looking for a home where neighbouring pets will not intrude on his territory. With people, Badger is sweetness personified!

Badger can be left for a couple of hours at a time but he’d love a home where he can be someone’s constant companion. He’s a helpful and cheerful friend to have around.

Badger is neutered and healthy. He wants a secure garden to potter about in and, most importantly, a human best friend with a lap to call his own.

If Badger might be the buddy for you, please contact Cheltenham Animal Shelter as follows:
