6/7/23 – Little Kiara has found her new home!
——————–

Kiara is a 8-year-old female Pulin dog, which is an old Shepherd breed but of medium size. Kiara is a small girl weighing only 11kg. She is with Hope VMS in a foster home in London.

Kiara is a very timid girl at first, but give her 2-3 days and she will be attached to you and demanding cuddles, usually with her front paws on your leg! She loves to curl up next to you and get all the loving possible.

Her story is the same as that of many stray dogs. She was rescued from a kill shelter and it took her two days to trust people and finally sleep after she arrived at the rescue shelter. She then spent 6 months rehabilitating and learning to be a dog. Today she is an incredible little girl who walks beautifully on the lead, loves to play, and tolerates other animals. She is currently living with another dog and a cat, but she could easily be an only dog – she might even prefer it.

Kiara loves her walks but she also doesn’t mind lounging on a sofa all day long. So she would suit either a calm or a fairly energetic home. During the hot weather in England she only received one short walk a day, and this seemed to be enough for her. Kiara can be left on her own, but make sure you don’t leave any food in her reach or she will find a way to get to it – this girl is very food motivated. She travels really well, either in a crate or with a seatbelt harness. Kiara is spayed and not on any medication.

Could you offer Kiara a lovely life?
