12/04/2023: Ramona has been adopted! Hooray!

Beautiful Ramona is a medium-sized Crossbreed lady of about 7 years. She’s staying in a multi-dog foster home in Kings Lynn, Norfolk through Safe Rescue. She wants a peaceful home with at least one other calm dog for company.

Ramona is a delightful, sensitive girl with a gentle nature. She can live with confident cats and would be OK with dog-savvy children from age 12. She wants a home without too many comings and goings, as she appreciates predictability.

Ramona loves treats!

Despite having spent a long time in a public dog shelter in Romania before being rescued, she has gradually adapted very well to a proper doggy life style here. She’s got used to the routine and happily jumps in the car everyday to go to the woods to explore with her foster family. She walks perfectly on the lead.

Ramona is great with other dogs! She’s the quiet, submissive type who benefits from having other dogs around her to help her confidence. She can be left for a few hours as long as there’s another relaxed dog friend with her.

It took a while for Ramona to enjoy fuss from her foster carers. Her new people must allow her to approach them when she’s ready.

When she trust you and knows the routine, she will gladly lounge around in the evening near her people, either in her bed or on the sofa.

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Ramona’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
