Gem (Friends of Akitas, Lincolnshire)

Listed under:

Gem is a beautiful 9-year-old Akita who is being rehomed by Friends of Akitas, along with her sister Foxy and brother George. It would be amazing if someone could offer them all a home together, but this is obviously a big ask, and so they can be rehomed separately. They are currently in Lincolnshire.

Gem & Co are lovely dogs who need a new home through no fault of their own. Gem is a lovely, friendly girl who met FOA’s assessor with a happy dance, flat ears and a wiggly bottom. During the visit she was happy to lie down, relaxed and happy with her company. Gem is in good health and she is very playful.

Gem currently lives with Foxy and George but can either be rehomed on her own or with her siblings. If Gem isn’t offered a home together with them, she may appreciate a resident neutered male canine for companionship and reassurance. As Gem has no experience of living with children, FOA are looking for an adult-only home or a home with older teenage children. Gem is not cat-tested. She is house-trained, lead-trained and doesn’t need a lot of exercise.

If this gorgeous love bug has caught your attention, FOA would love to hear from you.
