This is cuddly Clara who is looking for her forever home with the help of All Animals Rescue and Rehome in Essex. She has been rescued from the Chinese meat market and is so lucky to have come to the U.K. to enjoy a good doggy life she truly deserves now. Clara is just adorable both inside and out.
Clara is a neutered Mastiff Crossbreed and is approximately 7 – 8 years old. Who knows what her breeding is but everyone who meets her loves her. She is 40kg of pure love and is a gentle giant that just loves to be cuddled and give you her paw; she has the most smoochy face and is a total joy to have, just liking to lay close to you.
Clara walks lovely on a lead and is good off-lead. She mixes fine with other dogs of all sizes and is also good with cats and doesn’t take any notice of them in the home. Once she is in her bed snoozing, you could easily forgot you had her – except the thunderous snoring which feels like a minor earthquake!
Clara is a beautiful, soppy lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new family. She has settled well into her new routine and loves pack life. She enjoys exploring but will always come back when she hears the treat tub opening. Clara could be housed with children aged 8 years plus who are used to larger breed dogs, She doesn’t have a bad bone in her but may knock smaller children over. She is not destructive, can be left happily for short periods and loves to be left snoozing on the bed.
Clara is a very social lady, so she could live with other dogs or would be equally happy as the only dog with lots of human company. She is an inquisitive and responsive lady, is quick to learn and easy to train when food is around. She loves her home comforts and a cuddle, and likes to sleep on the bed with you if she is allowed, although she is equally settled downstairs.
Clara travels very well in the car and is just an all-round pleasure to have. She is cheeky and cute. Whoever adopts this gorgeous girl will be very lucky indeed as she really has the most amazing character. She is so grateful to be out of China and just wants to love her humans.
Clara is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and flea/worm treated. She has also been tested negative for Brucella. Unfortunately, when Clara was in China she had her ears and tail docked but it doesn’t affect her medically. She is a happy, healthy girl who doesn’t mind life in the slow lane but is also happy to pick up the pace if that’s what you want to do! She loves rolling around in the grass – something she has never done in China as her life was just a concrete cell.
