13/11/17 – Jake has found his new home!

Just how handsome is Jake? He is a beautiful, small German Shepherd boy and is 8 years old going on 9. He is hoping to find a new home soon and Animal Action Trust are taking good care of him until then.

Jake is fit, lively and healthy. He is great with people, including children; he really likes company. It is important for Jake to have a dog companion for those shopping trips, etc., as he doesn’t like being left alone.

Jake loves playing ball, fetching and running. Off-leash he stays close and has excellent recall. He is looking for a fit and able owner as he is an agile gent who can walk twice per day for approximately an hour in the morning and 40 minutes in the afternoon.

Jake has ears that need weekly attention and a coat that needs a good brush, but he is not a heavy shedder. He is good with dogs and has in the past lived with a cat, although he is happy to chase away garden cats at present.

In foster care, Jake was very easily accepted by other dogs with no issues whatsoever. But, as for cats, that would depend on the cat and if it stood its ground .. and your ability to train him again.

Jake is a wonderful, small German Shepherd Dog and has been castrated and chipped. He is also up-to-date with vaccinations, etc.
