9/8/20 – Prince is staying with his foster carer permanently!

Cuddle monster Prince is a 10 year old Lurcher X Deerhound in foster care in Canterbury, Kent through Kent Greyhound Rescue. He’s looking for a relaxing, adult-only home with experienced owners who are as tactile as he is!

Prince has restricted sight but he still loves going out and is good with other dogs outside. He wants to be the only pet at home though. He can’t be doing with having to share his humans’ love or anything unexpected happening around him. A mature boy needs his naps!

He recently had a dog visiting his foster home and, as is standard for many Sighthounds, a muzzle was put on him just in case. As you can see though, the pair quickly relaxed in each other’s company.

Prince needs experienced owners who will take on board the advice of the rescue, as practical things need to be considered in advance due to his poor vision.

Extra care needs to be taken when meeting new people out and about so that he’s not in a position he finds too alarming. All he wants is to feel safe and get lots of fuss from those he loves.

Kent Greyhound Rescue say, “We just love those ears! Prince came to us uncared for and stressed. He is a lovely lurcher and a real cuddle monster. Prince would love a quiet home to settle into with owners that will give him the love and care he hasn’t had up until now.

“He cannot live with children and he is a dog you will never be able to give soft toys to. He cannot get enough of being loved and he is a sweet, calm and very affectionate boy.”

If you can give Prince the peaceful home and fuss he deserves, please contact Kent Greyhound Rescue as follows:
