24/7/23 – Lovely Gary has found a new home. Wonderful news!
———————-

Gary is an 11-year-old greyhound boy who is at Ardley Rescue Kennels, Bicester, Oxfordshire. The rescue prefer to rehome locally, for homecheck purposes. Their website is down, but they can be contacted by email or phone.

Poor Gary had been starved and weighed only 17 kilos when he arrived at Ardley, as you can see in the sad photo above. Happily, after much love, care and food, Gary now weighs a healthy 28 kilos.

Gary is a really lovely old lad who deserves only the very best from now on. He could happily live with other dogs, but note that Gary is entire, and with older children. He just needs a quiet retirement home without cats or small pets. He can be left for up to 3 hours and he’s a very good traveller. What a star!

Gary isn’t taking any medication. He has had 20 teeth removed though so can only eat soft meat or soaked kibble, nothing hard or he will choke, and we really wouldn’t want that to happen! Gary hasn’t been neutered.

Could you offer this calm and beautiful old boy the happy future, and yummy soft food, he deserves?
