    19.5.2010 Poor Randy has unexpectedly died but at least he was loved and safe in his foster home.

    22/6/2010 – Sad news from Four Paws Animal Rescue – little Susie passed away today. Sleep tight little one :(

  • Oscar (Blue Cross, Nottinghamshire)

    26.4.10 Sadly, Oscar has passed away.

  • Bonnie (Ark, Lincolnshire coast)

    4/7/10 Very sad news about Bonnie. She recently became unwell and was found to have a very aggressive tumour and the kindest thing was to put her to sleep. Rest peacefully, Bonnie.

  • Beautiful Bruno (Oldies Club, fostered Norfolk)

    Bruno needed somewhere to go because his family were emigrating, so Oldies Club gave him a long term foster home. Sadly he was only with us a few weeks and was put to sleep on 24/3/10 due to severe kidney failure. Sleep tight Bruno :(

  • Tag (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)

    Tag has had a tumour removed and there is a fair chance that it might return so she’ll spend the rest of her time, however long or short that may be, with her loving foster family who will make every day special for her.

  • Sam (Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue, W Yorks)

    9/7/10 Sam the Springer unfortunately had to be put to sleep recently following a collapse and subsequent discovery of a tumour. Poor Sam. :(

  • Madge (All Dogs Matter, London)

    8/4/2010 Poor Madge has had to be put to sleep. The vet found tumours on her liver and lung. Sleep tight little one :(

  • Chester (Pro Dogs Direct, Kent)

    15/5/10 Chester has sadly died awaiting a home

  • Bentley Malteser (Oldies Club – fostered West Essex)

    March 2011. Sadly, Bentley has passed away. He had a wonderful year with his adoring new owners and our thoughts are with them.

  • Elvis (Private Rehoming, Leicestershire)

    26/11/10 We are sad to hear that Elvis’s health deteriorated and he had to be put to sleep. Sweet dreams, Elvis.

  • Arctic (Private rehoming, Northamptonshire)

    29.6.10 We have just heard the sad news about Arctic. The family who rescued her had decided to keep her as there had been very little interest but very sadly Arctic died last week. At least she had love and care for the last part of her life. Run free, Arctic.

  • Marvellous Molly – gentle Crossbreed (Oldies Club, fostered Berkshire)

    6/6/2010 Poor Molly has had to be put to sleep due to kidney failure. Oldies Club are very grateful to her wonderful foster Mum for giving Molly lots of love and TLC in her final months. Sleep well Molly :(

  • Pretty Pepsi (Oldies Club, fostered Milton Keynes)

    15 year old Pepsi wasn’t in Oldies Club care very long. A scan showed that she was riddled with cancer, so she had to be put to sleep. Rest in peace Pepsi :(

  • Adorable Amy Cocker (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)

    9/4/2010 Sad news from Amy’s foster family. Her health has recently deteriorated and today she had to be put to sleep. Amy had a very special foster family who showered her with love and affection and they will miss her dearly. Sleep tight Amy :(

  • Ball-mad Mitzi (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)

    Mitzi was an elderly Collie with lots of character and a passion for chasing balls. She had been in Oldies Club care for a long time and was supported as a sponsor dog. Sadly she’s had to be put to sleep due to an inoperable tumour. Sleep tight Mizti :(

  • Evie (Rescue Remedies, Surrey)

    1/4/2010 Poor Evie didn’t make it to a new home. We’ve had this sad update from Rescue Remedies … Sadly Evie’s tumour worsened and her health deteriorated. We had to make the decision to put her to sleep. She was loved by us all and the kennels she was in was owned by a Rottie fan who made her last days with us very comfortable. Run free Evie :(

  • Bulla (Forest Dog Rescue, Wyre Forest, Worcs)

    20/4/10 Such sad news about Bulla. He had to be put to sleep this morning as he had a number of health probelms and had gradually deteriorated. Sleep tight, Bulla.

  • Sweet Molly Springer (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)

    30/8/2010 Molly sadly had to be put to sleep recently after she started having fits. She had seven months in foster care and enjoyed life to the full, getting plenty of walks, cuddles and love from her wonderful family. Sleep well Molly :(
