  • Peggy – originally Mattie Staffiegirl (Oldies Club)

Peggy had a wonderful year with her new owners and was able to forget the awful life she must have had before. Sadly though, her heart gave up and she fell asleep in her own home with her loving owners beside her.

  • Alfie (Lizzie’s Barn Animal Sanctuary, South Wales)

20/6/10 – After the good news of Alfie finding a new home, we have some very sad news. Yesterday afternoon, Alfie was out pottering in the sunshine in the sanctuary garden when he suddenly collapsed and died. Fionna was with him and couldn’t do anything to save him. They suspect the poor little man had a massive heart attack. The Sanctuary people are absolutely devastated, as are the wonderful family who were due to be homechecked for him today and hoping to bring him home next weekend. Sleep well, little one.

  • Billy Boy Champion Snoozer (Oldies Club, fostered in Watford, Herts.)

Update 4/08/2010 – we are sorry to announce that Billy collapsed. The vet diagnosed a brain tumour, and he was allowed to slip away gently. All thanks to his foster carers for giving him the best of care at the end of his life.

  • Beautiful Bruno (Oldies Club, fostered Norfolk)

Bruno needed somewhere to go because his family were emigrating, so Oldies Club gave him a long term foster home. Sadly he was only with us a few weeks and was put to sleep on 24/3/10 due to severe kidney failure. Sleep tight Bruno :(

  • Tag (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)
