Tara is seeking a quiet owner who wants an independent little companion and doesn’t want to go overboard with fuss and affection. Don’t get her wrong, Tara does like a fuss when she wants a fuss, but you need to stop when she’s had enough. You see? It’s not rocket science. 🙂 Surely even a mere human can understand! If you do understand and don’t have pesky children or pets, Tara might consider asking if she could come to live with you please!

Bess (Pound Puppy Rescue, Dorset)

Well-mannered and sociable lurcher Bess is great with people, children and other nice dogs but she has a strong chase instinct with small furries – they’re great fun to chase! She likes her walks, a quick sprint and then home for dinner. She’s just a lovely lady.

Blue (RSPCA Westmorland Branch, Cumbria)

Lovely, gentle, quiet and relaxed, Blue is an obedient and well-behaved older Springer Spaniel. He still loves his walks and runs around like a dog half his age. Blue hasn’t lived with children or other pets before so would prefer a quiet, retirement home. Could you give him lots of TLC in his twilight years?

Bracken (RSPCA Westmorland Branch, Cumbria)

Although slightly portly at the moment, Bracken loves to run and play, will come when called and responds to praise. He’s looking for a fairly active owner who can maintain his diet. He came into rescue with another dog and also lived with children in the past. Could you help him achieve his perfect weight?

Ozzie (Jerry Green Dog Rescue, North Lincolnshire)

Along with playing lots of fetch, Ozzie also has a passion for snuggles, sunbathing and strolls in the woods. He would flourish in an active, pet-free home with children to play with. If you would like a companion and playmate, then Ozzie is definitely the one for you.

Lovely Abby is a very happy, easy-going Greyhound who loves her walks just as much as lazing around. She walks and travels well and is looking for a quiet home without children. She can live with another dog or not. Could you be Abby’s new companion?

Zeus is a bit gorgeous, isn’t he?! He’s a very loving boy and he does love to have company. His family are the centre of his world. He can live with other dogs and older children. Everyone who meets him will say “Wow!”. And rightly so!

Luke the lovely Black Lab is friendly with everyone – humans, dogs and even cats! His love of life is irrepressible and he likes to lean in for a cuddle or to just be near you. If this fun, soppy chap seems like the one for you, we’d advise you to get in there quick!

Holly (Dogs Trust Newbury, Berkshire)

Holly is a stunning Bedlington Terrier who is very friendly and affectionate – she likes to say hello to everyone. She would like to live with a calm dog in a home where any children are 11+ and there are no cats or small furries. Holly promises to be a great companion.

May and June (Pro Dogs Direct, fostered Hampshire)

This adorable pair of female Cocker Spaniel sisters are no longer wanted for breeding and are now looking for a loving home together. They are great with other dogs, love people and are happy to walk on leads. They can be rehomed with older, sensible children. Aren’t they gorgeous?

Chouquette and Donnie (Terrier SOS, Norfolk)

Adorable Chouquette and Donnie are a pair of Fox Terriers who met up in rescue and became each other’s strength after a difficult life. They must be rehomed together in a rural area where they have a secure garden. They are people and dog friendly but cannot live with young children or small furries. They are the sweetest pair who deserve a chance of the good life.

This fluffy fellow is Yoko the Welsh Terrier from France. You could foster him with a view to adoption. He’s an entertaining, loving boy who is desperate to be out of kennels and be someone’s cherished, only pet once more.

Sally is a Collie cross of about 10 years old and she has a wonderfully sweet temperament. She’s pretty much a low maintenance kind of girl; no trouble in the home, easy to walk and gets along fine with other dogs. Doesn’t she sound perfect!?
