9/3/20 – Jax has found a wonderful new home!
Handsome Jax is a gorgeous 9-year-old Collie x Shepherd who is with Good Life Dog Rescue, kennelled in South Yorkshire. Good Life Dog Rescue prefer to rehome their dogs within Yorkshire/Lancashire/Derbyshire areas, but would consider slightly further afield for the ideal home.
Jax is not only extremely beautiful, he is also very, very loving and friendly. He has been returned to Good Life Dog Rescue after 10 months in his adoptive home as, due to a change in working hours, he was being left for longer hours and suffering from terrible separation anxiety. Jax is feeling very unhappy about finding himself back in kennels and an unwanted dog once again. Originally Jax was left at a Yorkshire stray pound after his elderly owner passed away and there was nobody to take him. Jax remained in the stray kennels for some time until Good Life visited, fell in love with him, and took him under their care. They adored Jax all those months ago and they still adore him now.
Jax is fine with other dogs but has never lived in a home with other dogs or children so might be best in an adult home as your only pet, however Good Life aren’t ruling out rehoming him to live with friendly dogs and sensible older children. He walks fine on the lead and absolutely loves going out on adventures. Jax doesn’t travel well in a car though and finds it quite stressful. He has been health checked and is neutered.
Beautiful Jax needs a home with lots of company and where he will not be left. He can be destructive when left alone as he is so worried and stressed: this probably stems from the loss of his original owner and his extreme fear of abandonment. Jax is very loving and friendly, though understandably feeling very unhappy at present. He has had some tough times of late and he really deserves a change of fortune.
