Charming Charlie (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)
Charlie has been diagnosed with CDRM (Canine degenerative myelopathy) – an untreatable degenerative condition. At the moment Charlie is still active and enjoying life, but over time he will suffer from loss of coordination in his back legs. Charlie will stay in the care of the Oldies Club for the rest of his life.

Oscar (The Ark, Lincolnshire Coast)
5/10/2009 Sadly Oscar was taken very poorly and passed away before he could go to his new home. He would have been dearly loved. Rest In Peace Oscar.

Kyser (Private Rehoming, Tyne & Wear)
27/9/09 Kyser has sadly had to be put to sleep due to an illness.

Deano (Save our Strays, North Yorks)
9/12/09 Deano has sadly had to be put to sleep as he had renal failure. Sleep tight Deano.

Snoops (Lizzie’s Barn Sanctuary, South Wales)
18/10/09 Snoops’ health deteriorated to the point where she sadly had to be put to sleep. We hope she is now reunited with her owner. :(

Terrific Titch (Oldies Club, fostered Newcastle)
11/9/09 Sadly poor Titch has been put to sleep today. She had been unwell for a few days and the vet found an inoperable stomach tumour. Thanks to her wonderful foster mum, Titch has had plenty of love and TLC. Sleep well Titch.

Sally (NAWT, Berkshire)
30/7/09 Sally was taken seriously ill yesterday and sadly had to be put to sleep. She had been with NAWT a long time and will be sadly missed.

5/8/2009 Sadly Skip has passed away after being taken ill quite suddenly. He was well cared for in his last months and is now at peace.

Elton and Kikki (Animal Helpline, Peterborough)
20/1/11 – Sadly Elton has passed away, leaving poor Kikki to look for a home on her own.

Brock (Oldies Club, fostered Kent)
Brock came into our care in such a poor state that it was simply too late to save him. His foster carers are devastated.

Oban (Forest Dog Rescue, Wyre Forest, Worcs)
23/2/2010 Poor Oban has had to be put to sleep. He had a tumour and the rescue thought it was kinder to let him go. Sleep tight old boy :(

Max – (Oldies Club, fostered Berks)
19/8/09 Max has very sadly had to be put to sleep. Oldies Club and his fosterer tried very hard for him, but poor Max never really recovered from the loss of his beloved owner. He suffered terrible Separation Anxiety and was constantly stressed. Rest in Peace now Max.

Suzie (All Dogs Rescue, Kent)
18/7/09 Poor little Suzie has passed away. She had complete liver and kidney failure. What a terrible shame :(

Teddy-bear Bolo (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)
21/6/2010 We’re very sad to report that Bolo has passed away. Old age had crept up on him and the vet and his devoted fosterers decided it was time to let him go. Sleep tight big Teddy Bear :(

Alfie (Doris Banham Dog Rescue, fostered Leeds)
24/11/09 Poor Alfie has died. He was living with a volunteer from Doris Banham Dog Rescue for his last few months so he had the best of care and went with dignity. Rest in peace, Alfie

14/6/09 Freddy has sadly had to be put to sleep.

Holly (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)
Poor Holly is showing signs of senility and has deteriorating kidney function. She also needs constant company. Despite this, Holly is a lovely sweet-natured little girl.
