    1/8/2010 Percy was loved so much he stayed with his foster family to the end of his days. He sadly passed away recently, but his memory lives on and his photo now features on an events banner to help promote other needy Staffies. Sleep tight Percy :(

    9/9/08 Poor Hogan has very sadly had to be put to sleep due to ill health.

  • Tammy (Oldies Club Sponsor Dog)

    9/10/08 Tammy has very sadly had to be put to sleep today. Our thoughts are with her foster mum who has taken such good care of Tammy for her final months.

    19/7/08 Rosa has very sadly had to be put to sleep due to illness.

  • Harold (Leicester Animal Aid)

    2/6/08 – Poor Harold has been poorly and despite treatment his health declined, so LAA sadly had to let him go. Harold’s last few weeks were spent in the comfort of a foster home. Run free Harold!

    8/11/08 Poor little Jack has very sadly passed away today. Our thoughts are with his foster family who cared for him so well in his time of need. Rest in peace, Jack.

    12/4/08 – Red Lion Canine Rescue have informed us that Jason has very sadly been put to sleep. He’d been unwell for a few days and after further investigations the vet discovered a large tumour in his mouth. Rest in Peace Jason!

  • Tara (GSD Rescue – fostered Fife, Scotland)

    25/2/08 – We’re very sad to hear that Tara has had to be put to sleep. When she suddenly became very ill the vet discovered a massive, inoperable tumour and decided it was best to let her go. Sleep well Tara!

  • Wiggy (North East SBT Rescue, fostered Cambridgeshire)

    19/3/08 Wiggy has sadly passed away today after her second stroke in three days. Sleep tight Wiggy.

  • George (Chancepixies, Kent)

    9/2/08 Poor George’s health deteriorated to the point where the vet had to make the decision to call it a day. It is so sad that George’s previous owners were heartless enough to dump this poor boy on Christmas Eve and make him spend his last days alone in kennels.

  • Marley (DAWG Dogs, Dorset)

    17/11/2010 We’ve had the sad news from DAWG Dogs today that poor Marley had to be put to sleep. He had started having fits and showed no signs of improvement. He was lucky to have enjoyed two good years with his fosterer. Sleep tight Marley :(

    After horrible neglect, Cassie finally had the chance to find a loving, comfortable retirement. Devastatingly, Cassie ran out of time before that could happen.

    30/11/2007 Tragic news about Eric: after waiting a long time for a new home, he finally had some wonderful home offers; but in a cruel twist of fate, poor Eric had to be put to sleep this week.

  • Bluebell (AARU, Nottingham)

    10/1/08 – We are sorry to hear that after a sudden illness little Bluebell has had to be put to sleep. Her owners are understandably devastated, but thanks to them Bluebell will have known a lot of love and happiness in her last few weeks. Rest In Peace Bluebell!
