10 April 2007 – Bath Cats and Dogs Home has informed us that Midge has very sadly passed away. Sleep tight Midge.

17/4/2007 Jack the Dobermann passed away suddenly last night. Rest in peace, Jack.

30 March 2007. We have been informed by Bath Cats & Dogs Home that Duke has very sadly passed away.

31/7/2007 We’ve been informed that Pugsey has sadly passed away without finding a new home.

5/9/07 – Oldies Club are very sad to announce that Pretty Pippa has had to be put to sleep today. She took a turn for the worse and under the vets advice it was kinder to let her go. Sleep tight pretty girl!

26/2/2007 Faith has had to be put to sleep. Rest in peace, beautiful lady.

8/2/2007 Badly neglected Hazel developed acute liver failure and had to be put to sleep. CDRS told us that she was a truly lovely dog and we are very sorry that she ran out of time before she had time to enjoy a happy home life.

Sadly, although a rescue place was offered to Norman, his owners refused to release him and he was put to sleep.

Jack was in a very poor way when he came into the care of the Oldies Club.

Max came into rescue with his best friend, Tricks. It is hard to find homes for pairs of dogs, and sadly, Max never reached his forever home.

10/3/2007 Unfortunately, Jet has had to be put to sleep. His health deteriorated rapidly and he was very distressed; the vet suspected Jet had brain tumours.

11/11/2007 Sad news about Lester: he has had to be PTS as he had lymph cancer.

15/11/2006 Sad news. Poor little Ollie has had to be put to sleep as he had kidney trouble and problems with his rear legs. As his rescuer says: “that’s probably why he was found as a stray – how can people be so cruel?”

5/11/2006 Poor little Charlotte has passed away – so sad that she spent her final months without a home of her own.
